OUR MISSION

The Mission of the Madison House Foundation is to assist individuals and families who are affected by autism and provide information to parents, families, and educators on how to successfully manage the needs and issues of individuals living with Autism.

These goals will be achieved by:

* Supporting community awareness programs, advocacy in legislation and policy, and establishing models in planning for all aspects of adult life for individuals with autism.
* Helping to change the perception and view of autism in the general public.
* Providing adults with autism the guidance and assistance necessary to attain their highest potential and live a enviable lifestyle.
* Encouraging family advocacy of those coping with autism by facilitating the utilization of the best available services.
* Validating adults with autism who can make a contribution to society rather than being a burden on it.
* Helping parents understand the process of transitioning from public schools to adult life.
